Military veterans get Christmas gift to help with healing
FORT PIERCE — Two military veterans will be getting a Christmas present which could help change their lives for the better.
On Dec. 18at 4 p.m. Dec. 18 at 4600 Selvits Road, Fort Pierce they will receive a service dog trained just for them, and may help them with healing and recovering from combat situations.
The dogs were trained by a nonprofit organization called Paws of War, and will be given to the veterans free of charge.
