Dear members, Veterans & families,
Please see attached flyer from Queens University carrying out an important UK Veterans and Families Study, funded by Forces In Mind Trust.
It is strictly confidential, you may not want to give your real name and that is fine. All personal information you may give will be destroyed once data is taken, personal details will not be kept. The need for this is to get to grips with what support systems have best helped veterans and their families post service and indeed how many of you have rehabilitated into civilian life or not as the case may be, with or without help. It is vital that you put your views across to the study. This will be carried out by telephone.
Once again, I urge you all to have your say and make your voice heard and that of your families. Beyond the Battlefield dealt with 854 clients and family members last year alone so it is imperative that you have your say to hopefully get the right services required once and for all, post service, and give an insight into what support services have best helped your families or not as the case may be.
If veterans` families do not respond to this, it is possible that others will be offering services/help that you neither need or want. Through this study, families will be given the opportunity to tell your real and true stories!
