OUR Armed Forces are never off duty.
So this Christmas, let’s take a moment to think of our brave servicemen and
women across the world separated from their loved ones.
More than 10,000 are serving from the Falklands to Brunei, from Cyprus to
Kenya.
They are helping to keep us safe.
In the Middle East, more than a thousand British military personnel are
leading the fight against Daesh (ISIS).
Since operations began more than a year ago, the RAF have flown 1,700
missions, carried out over 400 strikes, and provided more than 60 per cent
of the Coalition’s vital intelligence that will ultimately destroy the death
cult.
