Beyond The Battlefield continually deal with homeless veterans and are very successful in acquiring temporary and permanent accommodation. This has its problems in that we need to sometimes in emergency re-cloth veterans and furnish the accommodation we find. This is only the start of a long process of readjustment.
Beyond The Battlefield continually need to stabilise the veteran and look after their family unit. This is an expensive process and no funds are available through the statutory agencies. Lack of funds sometimes results in veterans again falling out of society which has a massive impact and in many cases leads to premature death or suicide. Your help no matter how small will give a veteran the chance to gain control of his life and in many cases your donation will save their life.
The causes above are only the tip of the iceberg. Beyond the Battlefield are Northern Ireland’s only charity who deals with every issue or problem a veteran faces. No one is ever turned away and no one is ever asked to pay. We pride ourselves on action not words. With your help and donations we will turn the lives of our veterans around and give them the pride and honour they so richly deserve.
