This is a really worthwhile charity and I am delighted to see that Robert, with others has taken the initiative to provide support, advice and a much needed community group for Veterans to go and talk to people in similar circumstances
Plans are underway to open a £3.5 million centre in Newtownards specifically catering for the needs of military veterans, making it the first of its kind in Northern Ireland.
The Democratic Unionist Party met yesterday with a representative from ‘Beyond the Battelfields’, a local charity focused on dealing with trauma and stress faced by former service personnel.
